Alongside the traditional Cisco product ranges we are able to offer Cisco Meraki products and services. Meraki was a Cisco acquisition back in 2012. Cisco purchased this leader in cloud networking not only for the strategic advantage it gave them but also because of the extremely high quality and usability of the products. The Wireless and Mobile Device Management products from Meraki are market leading and are very reasonably priced. The concept of having a product that is managed ‘in the cloud’ is a clever and powerful tool that differentiates this product and makes it very attractive to many more companies and establishments.

There are two main products from Tri-Line; a Call Recording solution and a Call Logging solutions.

The call recording software (TIM Talk) provides a large amount of functionality out of the box. It can record, analyse, score and playback recordings via a simple intuitive interface within seconds.

The call logging application (TIM Professional, Plus or Enterprise) is a fully feature rich logging product that has an easy to use interface and has powerful methods for displaying data. It also has the ability to display a wallboard with key pieces of information. It is all run via a web interface so no need to install and client software, has multiple levels of access and has a reporting scheduler built into it.

Amtech employees have worked and deployed a number of Tri-Line applications into various customers and the overriding customer feedback is around its ease of use and the amount of data that is readily available in the product.

IPFX

Independently owned, IPFX is the brainchild of CEO and owner Kevin Plumpton, a former IT Manager. When tasked with replacing the incumbent telephone system for his then-employer, he noticed a gap in the market and began to develop a computer based voicemail system. The key concept that was worked on here was a real-time visibility of workers which turned out to be some of the pioneering work towards what we know as Presence now.

IPFX as a product has developed significantly since those days and is now a multi million dollar (New Zealand based company) organisation with many hundreds of thousands of users around the world. Their products integrate seamlessly into Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes for presence, unified messaging, contact centre, collaboration and mobility.

IPFX comes in two flavours: the first is used as an application layer working with Cisco Unified Communications Manager. The second is a complete SIP IP PBX system in its own right called IPFX Director.

One of the key differentiators of this product over some of its rivals is its ease of use. The system was designed to be used by simply clicking a button. It is also one of the very few products in the market place that has business class presence and voicemail. Being able to provide voicemail that not only indicates where you are (In a meeting, Gone for the Day, etc…) but being able to provide a return time manages customers’ expectations immediately.
